School Receptionist
Part-time - Hourly
Under the supervision of the School Secretary, the School Receptionist greets and assists students, parents, and visitors; answers and directs all telephone calls; communicates via the school’s social media accounts; and performs other school support activities, including student supervision as needed.
Elementary Lead Teacher
Full time - Salaried
In collaboration with classroom assistant teacher(s), the Elementary Lead Teacher is responsible for guiding studentsʼ learning in a prepared Montessori environment for students in either 1st - 3rd or 4th - 6th grade - challenging each student to reach his/her fullest potential in a manner appropriate for their age group and in accordance with the schoolʼs mission, vision, and practices.
Assistant Teacher
Full-time - Hourly
The assistant teacher supports studentsʼ daily activities by preparing classwork/materials, maintaining the learning environment, supervising students, and performing tasks delegated by the classroom lead teacher.
Elementary Teaching Intern
Full-time or Part-time - Hourly
Paid teaching interns are placed into a multi-year career track under the guidance of a highly-qualified classroom instructor that ultimately leads to becoming a certified Montessori teacher at either the Pre-K or Elementary level. These part and full-time positions are for someone interested in pursuing a career in education or who already has teaching experience. All training and certification costs are covered by the school.
Intern Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree or currently completing coursework toward attainment - required for Elementary classroom interns.
- Knowledge of Montessori educational methodology or interest to attain.
- Able to pass local, state, and federal criminal background screenings.
- Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- US citizen or possess documentation of right to work in the US.
