International Baccalaureate
Bhaktivedanta Academy is an IB World School offering the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP). We became an IB Candidate School for the MYP in 2013 and received full authorization in 2018.
The MYP framework guides our program for Grades 7–10, emphasizing inquiry, conceptual understanding, global awareness, and criterion-based assessment. As an IB World School, we undergo regular review to maintain alignment with IB standards and practices.
Montessori Alignment
Our Early Childhood and Elementary programs (serving children from pre-kindergarten through Grade 6) are aligned with Montessori principles and maintain professional membership with:
American Montessori Society (AMS)
International Montessori Council (IMC)
We adhere to International Montessori Council ethical standards and best practices. Our Montessori educators hold credentials from MACTE-accredited teacher training programs, ensuring professional preparation consistent with Montessori educational standards.

Bhaktivedanta Academy is affiliated with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and operates in line with the educational vision of its founder, His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
We partner with the Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County to support early childhood education initiatives and community collaboration.
State Registration & Licensing
Bhaktivedanta Academy is registered with the State of Florida as a private school.
Our Early Childhood program is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) and meets all applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements for preschool programs.
