Current Openings

Elementary Classroom Teacher

Under the supervision of the Lead Classroom Teacher and in collaboration with assistant teacher(s), the Elementary Teacher is responsible for guiding students' learning in a prepared Montessori environment in 4th - 6th grade - challenging each student to reach his/her fullest potential in a manner appropriate for their age group and in accordance with the schoolʼs mission, vision, and practices.

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS minimum (M.ED, preferred).
  • Montessori Elementary II certification or willingness to attain within twelve months of initial employment.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
  • Able to pass local, state, and federal criminal background screenings.
  • Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • US citizen or possess documentation of the right to work in the US.
  • Current first aid and CPR certification preferred.
