Leadership & Governance

Governance Structure

Bhaktivedanta Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational institution governed by a Board of Directors. The Board provides strategic oversight and long-term stewardship to ensure institutional strength and sustainability.

The Board entrusts the Head of School with leadership of daily operations, academic programming, and personnel management. Together, the Board and Head of School operate in partnership — aligning governance oversight with executive leadership in service of the school's mission.

Leadership Responsibilities

Mission Stewardship

As a faith-based school affiliated with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Bhaktivedanta Academy maintains governance that protects institutional excellence and mission integrity. The Board carries responsibility for ensuring continued alignment with Srila Prabhupada's educational aspiration: forming young people who are spiritually grounded, intellectually capable, and prepared to serve with integrity.

Our governance model exists to preserve this mission across generations.
