Why Your Support Matters
Bhaktivedanta Academy is the only school in North America to have built a Krishna-conscious educational program at this scale — a full continuum from early childhood through tenth grade, integrating Montessori and International Baccalaureate frameworks rooted in bhakti. What exists here has taken decades to build. It depends, in part, on a community willing to invest in its future.
Tuition covers the core costs of operating the school, but it does not cover everything. We intentionally keep tuition approximately 30% below comparable private programs' rates, because we believe a bhakti-centered education should be accessible to families across a range of socioeconomic backgrounds — not only those for whom cost is not a consideration. That decision reflects a value. It also creates a gap. Gifts to Bhaktivedanta Academy fill that gap.
Our supporters allow us to sustain the quality of what we offer, support the teachers and staff who make it possible, expand access for families in need of assistance, and improve the physical environment where students spend their days.
Three years ago, when Hurricane Idalia sent a tree through the roof of one of our newly established pre-k classrooms, our community responded without hesitation. Over $45,000 was raised, and twenty displaced students returned to school. That moment was a reminder of what becomes possible when a community chooses to show up for what it values.
