The next series of after school vedic arts studio classes in sanskrit and music start on Wednesday.  Please return your registration form to the school office by Tuesday morning along with payment if you plan on having your K-5th grade child participate.

It’s 8:30am when I arrive at the Bhaktivedanta Academy, a private elementary school located on a leafy five-acre plot at ISKCON’s New Raman Reti farm in Alachua, Florida. It’s August 31st, and school has been back in for about a week.

As you take darshan of the deities at the New Raman Reti temple on Sunday, please note the beautiful turban pieces. They were sponsored by the students of Bhaktivedanta Academy. During the month of May, children in each class performed chores at home, sold items, and dipped into their savings to collect over $200 as an offering to Srimati Radharani on her appearance day. It is heartening to witness so much enthusiasm and love that our students have for the Lord and his associates.

Beginning of Year Ceremony Reminder

Bhaktivedanta Academy will be holding its official beginning of year ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 28th. We will be following Srila Prabhupada in procession from the temple to the school and a fire sacrifice will be performed to attract auspiciousness for the coming school year. Please bring your child in full uniform or nice devotional dress, and be sure to invite your friends and family.
