Class Supply Lists - 2023-24

Dear Families,

We are in the process of finalizing our welcome letters and important information to send to you before the beginning of the 2023-24 school year. 

In order to give you as much time as possible to make preparations for the start of school, we are sharing the class supply lists for 2023-24 below. The entire 2023-24 welcome packet for each class will be sent out by email early next week.

Hiring - School Receptionist

The Bhaktivedanta Academy, a spiritually-centered pre-k thru 10th-grade school located in Alachua, Florida, is seeking applicants for the position of School Receptionist.

School Receptionist Role and Qualifications:

Under the supervision of the School Secretary, the School Receptionist greets and assists students, parents, and visitors; answers and directs all telephone calls; communicates via the school’s social media accounts; and performs other school support activities, including student supervision as needed. 

• Able to effectively and professionally communicate orally and in writing using English.

• Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail, and online communication software.

• Excellent communication and exhibited organizational and follow-through skills.

• Able to pass local, state, and federal criminal background screenings.

• US citizen or possess documentation of right to work in the US.

• Current first aid and CPR certification preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

Part-time position with hours from 7:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on school days with a minimum starting salary of $15 per hour in addition to benefits, including:
