Introducing Stacey Cricchio, Occupational Therapist

We are pleased to share that Bhaktivedanta Academy has formally contracted with Stacey Cricchio, MS, OTR/L, to provide occupational therapy expertise and support for our students and teaching team.

Stacey has worked with our school periodically over the past several years, and through that time we have come to greatly appreciate her expertise, practical approach, and ability to partner effectively with our teachers and families. Stacey brings more than 29 years of experience as an occupational therapist, with extensive expertise in sensory processing and regulation, attention and executive functioning, visual processing, and strategies to support students’ access to learning.

As part of her expanded role at Bhaktivedanta Academy, Stacey will work in coordination with the school to observe in our classrooms, consult with teachers about students who may benefit from her insight, and help our teaching team implement effective, research-informed strategies to better support students.

When we believe a student may benefit from working directly with Stacey at school, we will communicate and collaborate with the student’s family and obtain permission before beginning direct occupational therapy services.
