After-school activities at Bhaktivedanta Academy extend the school day with enrichment opportunities and supervised care for families who need flexible options.

After-School Care for Younger Students

Alachua Learning Academy Partnership

Bhaktivedanta Academy partners with Alachua Learning Academy (ALA), a trusted neighboring school, to offer after-school care for students in Kindergarten through Grade 10.

ALA operates Monday through Friday from 2:00–6:00 p.m. and provides a well-supervised environment, a daily meal, and a range of enrichment classes and activities. Families may select their level of participation based on their needs, with scheduling that fits their availability.

For convenience, transportation is provided from Bhaktivedanta Academy to ALA following dismissal.

Alachua Learning Academy After-School Program

On-Campus Enrichment Opportunities

Bhaktivedanta Academy also facilitates on-campus enrichment programs during after-school hours.

These offerings vary throughout the year and may include:

Mṛdaṅga lessons
Bharatanatyam dance
Karate
Board games club
Sewing club

These programs give students space to explore interests, develop skills, and spend time with peers in a more informal setting.

Supporting Families
