Supporting the Life of the School

The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) works alongside teachers and families through service, coordination, and fundraising to support the programs and events that shape the student experience throughout the year.

How the PTO Contributes

The PTO organizes and supports a range of school activities, including:

  • Field days and student activity events
  • Teacher appreciation initiatives
  • Community gatherings and school events
  • Fundraising efforts that support school programs

These efforts deepen the school's culture while giving families a meaningful way to invest in what they value.

Class Representatives

Each classroom is connected to a parent representative who serves as a point of contact between the class and families.

Class representatives help:

  • Coordinate volunteer opportunities
  • Organize class events and activities
  • Support communication between teachers and parents
  • Assist with field trips and classroom needs

This structure ensures that families in each classroom remain connected to and engaged with their child’s school experience throughout the year.

Parent Involvement

Parents contribute in a variety of ways — whether by helping organize events, volunteering during school activities, or taking on specific ongoing roles. Some families make regular commitments; others contribute as their schedules allow.

Every form of involvement helps create a school environment where students are known and guided not only by teachers but by a wider network of caring adults.

A Shared Effort

The PTO reflects the broader partnership between families and the school. Through consistent involvement and shared responsibility, parents help sustain an environment where students are supported by their whole community.

Families interested in participating in the PTO or learning more about opportunities to get involved are encouraged to contact the school office.
