Elementary Teacher

Full time - Salaried
Under the supervision of the Head of School and in collaboration with the senior classroom teacher and assistant teacher(s), the Elementary Teacher is responsible for guiding students learning in a prepared Montessori environment in 4th - 6th grade - challenging each student to reach his/her fullest potential in a manner appropriate for their age group and in accordance with the schoolʼs mission, vision, and practices.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS minimum (M.ED, preferred).
- Montessori Elementary II certification or willingness to attain within twelve months of initial employment.
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
- Able to pass local, state, and federal criminal background screenings.
- Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- US citizen or possess documentation of right to work in the US.
- Current first aid and CPR certification preferred.
