Srila Prabhupada's Disappearance Day Bhajan (Sunday 11/11/18)

Dear Parents,

our Vaisnava Music 1 class has been preparing a lovely music and art offering for Srila Prabhupada's Disappearance Day. This year, this falls on Sunday, November 11th 2018. It is our honor to be able to offer Srila Prabhupada the results of our work, and Mother Mukhya has kindly given us an 8am slot immediately after the morning announcements. Though this is a Sunday, I hope everyone will still be able to make it to the temple for our offering and the wonderful festival program afterwards. Please have your child at the temple at 7:30am at the latest, with any instruments/paraphernalia they will need for our program. If your child will not be able to be present, please let me know as soon as possible so that alternate arrangements can be made. This is a graded project as part of the Vaisnava Music 1 curriculum for our first semester.

I think you probably need to talk to you local Rabbi. Most will probably say they will not do it because it is, in effect, creating a problem within the family. It is possible a Reform Rabbi might do it but I don't know. Reform Judaism is the most accepting.
