Grandparents Day Reminder

Bhaktivedanta Academy's Annual Grandparents Day is this Friday, March 16th. We have special activities planned and welcome the opportunity for students to share the work they have been doing in their class with their grandparents.

The schedule is as follows:

• Bhakti Bhavan - 8:30 am to 9:30 am
• Audarya Bhavan - 9:30 am to 10:15 am
• Madhurya Bhavan - 10:15 am to 11:00 am

We look forward to seeing our student's grandparents here!

Gaura Purnima Performance Reminder

This Thursday, March 8th, in honor of Lord Chaitanya, the students of Bhaktivedanta Academy are performing on the outside stage at the New Raman Reti temple at 5:00 p.m.

Audarya Bhavan (3rd Year) & Madhurya Bhavan

All performers need to meet in the Madhurya Bhavan classroom dressed in their costume (they will bring it home the day before) no later then 4:15 p.m.

Bhakti Bhavan & Audarya Bhavan (1st & 2nd Year)

Please bring your child directly to their classroom in devotional dress, tilak, and nicely combed hair at 4:30 p.m. 

It is extremely important that all children arrive on-time dressed as requested.  If your child is late or arrives unprepared they may miss their chance to perform.

We request all families to sign-in their children when they drop them off. Students will remain together with their class and will be released to their family immediately after the performance.

Prospective Family Open House

Join us Monday, March 12th at 6:00 p.m. for a prospective family open house at Bhaktivedanta Academy.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about Bhaktivedanta Academy's unique educational approach, meet our teachers, visit our classrooms, and get answers to any questions you may have. 

Child care and light refreshments will be available.

Holy Name Gathering Invitation

The time between Lord Nityananda's and Lord Chaitanya's appearance days is our annual japa marathon.  Each 1st - 6th grade student has a daily japa goal which they commit to chant during this period as an offering to Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.  To date our students have chanted close to 1000 rounds of japa together.

As a nice way to finish off this special offering, Shantipur, our upper elementary teacher, suggested that we host a Holy Name Gathering at the school, where students and parents can chant japa together.

We would like to extend an invitation to you and your child to join us for this special event on Thursday, March 8th (Gaura Purnima Day) from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the Audarya Bhavan classroom.  We will have a japa circle and set the space for a focused attention on the holy name of the Lord.

2012-13 Re-Enrollment Invitation

Our re-enrollment period for the 2012-2013 school year has begun!

We have made some changes to our tuition and fees for the upcoming school year.  Click here to view the updated tuition and fee schedule, which also includes the projected Tax Credit Scholarship amount.  Our rates continue to remain at or below other schools in our area and hope that you consider them reasonable given the quality spiritually-based educational program we offer.

As in prior years, we will continue to offer financial aid via the following programs: 

• In-School Tuition Grants
• Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program
• Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK)
• School Readiness

Tuition Aid and Data Services (TADS) will handle all enrollment form processing and financial aid assessment just like last year.  You will receive an email from TADS with re-enrollment instructions. The email will contain a link specific to your family, so please use it in order for your re-enrollment to be properly processed.

As the family of a child currently enrolled, you have priority status. General admissions for new students will begin on March 12th. Please complete your re-enrollment and in-school financial aid applications (if needed) by this date to secure your child's space in their class for the 2012-2013 school year.
