Radha Bhakti Bhavan Welcome Packet 2025-26

Dear Families, 

On behalf of the teachers and staff of Bhaktivedanta Academy, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning families for the 2025-26 school year. We are honored that you have entrusted your childʼs education with us and are looking forward to the start of school on Monday, August 11.

Please be on the lookout for additional information, event invitations, and forms in your email in the coming days.

We will host our classroom welcome meetings and orientations on Saturday, August 9, starting at 10:00 am. These important meetings will allow you to become acquainted with your child’s teachers, get classroom overviews, and set a strong foundation for the start of school. We highly recommend that you plan on attending, even if your child is returning to the same classroom.

10th Grade Graduation Invitation

Dear Krishna Sharanam Families,

We’ve reached the end of the school year! We are looking forward to celebrating our achievements and honoring the graduation of our 10th-grade students. Please see important event details and instructions below:

Graduation Photo Sign-Up – 10th Grade Families

Please use the form linked below to sign up for your student’s Graduation Photo Time Slot:

Once all responses are collected, we will send out official time slot confirmations individually.
Please arrive on time for your designated photo slot, dressed in:

  • Formal attire

  • Cap & gown

  • Dinner prep in hand

Graduation portraits will be taken with and without tilak, so please arrive without tilak and be prepared to put it on at the Woman’s Club.

Event Details:

  • Date: Thursday, May 29

  • 7th–9th Grade Student Arrival Time: 5:45 PM

  • Event Start Time: 6:00 PM

  • Venue: Alachua Woman’s Club
    14565 Main St, Alachua, FL 32615

Important Notes:

  • All Krishna Sharanam students in grades 7–10 are required to attend.

  • 7th–9th grade students should arrive by 5:45 PM, dressed in their best school uniform.

  • Graduates should arrive according to their assigned photo slot time (TBD).

Pre-K - Upper Elementary: End-of-Year Ceremonies Invitation (05/28)

Dear Families, 

We have made it to the end of the school year! We look forward to celebrating our accomplishments this year and the transition of our Kindergarten, 3rd, and 6th grade students from one class to the next. Our ceremonies will be held at the New Raman Reti Temple Pavillion on Wednesday, May 28th, at the following times:

Bhakti Bhavan - 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Audarya Bhavan - 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
Madhurya Bhavan - 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

All students should arrive at school as usual at 8:00 am. This is a uniform day, and we ask that all students come looking their best. The 2024–2025 school year will officially conclude at the end of each ceremony, with students returning to their families' care immediately afterward.

Kurukshetra Day (Field Day) – This Friday, May 16

Dear Families,

Our dedicated PTO team is working hard to organize an epic Kurukshetra Day (Field Day) for our students this Friday, May 16th!

This fun-filled day will be packed with exciting activities — students will enjoy water slides, field games, popsicles, and a special lunch provided by the PTO. We’ll also hold our beloved Annual Staff vs. Students Game — this year it’s volleyball — bringing everyone together in the spirit of friendly competition and joyful community.

Important Notes:

  • Partial-Day Students: Regular dismissal at 12:00 PM

  • All Other Grades (VPK–10th): Early dismissal at 1:00 PM

  • No aftercare will be available this day

What to Bring:

  • Wear clothing suitable for outdoor activity (no school uniforms)

  • Bring a change of clothes for water play, plus a hat and towel

  • Please apply sunscreen at home

  • Pack a snack and water bottle as usual

Lunch Details:

The PTO is generously sponsoring a Mexican-themed lunch for all students, teachers, and volunteers!


Menu:
Rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, cilantro, tortilla wraps, and tortilla chips (Vegan and gluten-free options will be available)

 

If your child would prefer something else, you are welcome to send an alternative lunch.
