School Calendar 2024-25

Kurukshetra Day - Thursday, May 30th

Our annual Kurukshetra Field Day is this Thursday, May 30th. A big thank you to our PTO for working tirelessly to make this a fun day for everyone! Here are a few things to know about the day:

We are following a typical school schedule: arrive by 8:00 a.m. and pickup:

• Bhakti Bhavan (3 year olds) - 12:30 p.m.

• Bhakti Bhavan (VPK & Kindergarteners) - 2:00 p.m.

• Elementary and MYP (Grades 1 - 10) - 3:00 p.m.

Students should come to school in clothing appropriate for outdoor activity – not school uniforms. Additionally, they should bring a change of clothing for afternoon water play and a towel. It is going to be hot outside. All students should have a hat and a water bottle. If your student needs sunscreen, please apply it at home.

The PTO sponsors lunch on this day, which will be provided to all students, teachers, and volunteers. Please send a snack as usual with your child. You are welcome to send an alternative lunch if you prefer.

An email with more specific information regarding the Bhakti Bhavan students will be sent out separately and can be viewed on the Bhakti Bhavan facebook page.

Bhaktivedanta Academy PHE Uniform Orders

Dear Families,

Physical Health Education (PHE) uniforms for 2024-25 are now available for purchase. Please click here to order by Friday, May 24th.

Students participating in PHE in grade 4 or higher are required to change into an athletic uniform for their classes. PHE uniforms consist of the Bhaktivedanta Academy yellow shirt, solid navy blue athletic shorts, capris, or pants, and athletic shoes. Approved uniforms may be purchased directly through the school. Samples are available in the school office.

Please note the following:

• Leggings and/or tights are not part of the PHE uniform unless navy blue shorts are worn in addition. 

• Regular uniform pants or shorts are also not acceptable alternatives for the athletic uniform.

• Uniforms are made to order, so please confirm sizing before ordering. We will not be able to refund your order if it doesn't fit.

Bhaktivedanta Academy School Uniform Order
