Holy Name Gathering Invitation

The time between Lord Nityananda's and *Lord Chaitanya's appearance days is our annual japa marathon.  Each 1st - 7th grade student has a daily japa meditation goal which they commit to during this period as an offering to Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.  To date our students have chanted close to 1,200 rounds of japa together.

As a nice finale for this special offering, we are hosting a Holy Name Gathering in the Krishna Sharanam classroom on Sunday, March 16th (Gaura Purnima Day) from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

We would like to extend an invitation to you and your child(ren) to visit the sacred space created by our students and take darshan of their Pancha Tattva deities in Their new outfit while we all chant japa together as an offering to the Lord. The theme of their decorations is celebrating Lord Gauranga's full moon birth - "Lord Chaitanya's Moon is Rising."

*Lord Chaitanya is the 15th century incarnation of Lord Krishna who brought us the practice of chanting the Hare Krishna maha mantra:

Prospective Family Open House Recap

Thank you to everyone who joined us (personally and online) for the prospective family open house. It was great to get an opportunity to meet together and talk about the unique educational program Bhaktivedanta Academy offers.

If you did not get an opportunity to attend the meeting, please take a little time to review the presentation and documents as they will give a general idea of what was discussed.

As we talked about yesterday, it is important to submit your application by March 14th, if you have not already done so. One of the criteria we utilize in selecting students for admission is the date of application, so don't delay, as we have a limited number of spaces available. The financial aid programs we offer have their own deadlines that are independent of our admissions schedule and are often on a first come, first served basis. Please take a moment to review the aid programs listed on our website at www.bhaktivedantaacademy.org/financial-aid.

We also require all applicants to visit the school and observe in the classroom that serves the grade your child will be entering. Please schedule your observation soon, as time slots tend to fill up quickly. You can schedule by calling 386-462-2886.
